Fees are for the RECORDINGS of the works, not the works themselves.
An agreement MUST be signed by both parties and a JOINT COPYRIGHT will be filed with the US LIBRARY OF CONGRESS.

Any royalites would be split according to industry standards.

Churches may use the song and pay monies thru CCLI.
Should a song become popular in the churches, registration with CCLI would be recommended.
